Phelps County Regional Medical Center will sponsor several community education opportunities in April.
ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUP
The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet on April 1 from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. and April 3 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Heritage Park Care Center, located at 1200 McCutchen Drive in Rolla.
The support group, co-sponsored by Heritage Park and PCRMC, provides information about the disease and allows participants to exchange ideas.
DIABETIC SUPPORT GROUP
The Diabetic Support Group will meet from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, April 5 in Private Dining Rooms 1 & 2 at PCRMC.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SUPPORT GROUP
The Multiple Sclerosis Support Group will meet from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., April 14 in Classroom A at PCRMC. Participants should use the North Entrance for access.
BETTER BREATHERS SUPPORT GROUP
This group is for people with long-term respiratory disease, their families and friends. This is an opportunity to share concerns, solutions and common problems with others. For more information on this group, please call 458-7147.
PARKINSON’S SUPPORT GROUP
The Parkinson’s Support Group will meet April 24 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Rolla Apartments, located at 1101 McCutchen Drive.
CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
The Cancer Support Group meets every Wednesday at 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. in Education Classroom A at the North Entrance of the hospital. Call (573) 458-7502 for more information about this group.
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
The Grief Support Group meets at The Center Clinic on Homelife Drive. Call (573) 364-2425 for more information and a meeting schedule.
BLOOD PRESSURE CLINIC
The Blood Pressure Clinic will be held April 8 from 8:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at Rolla Apartments located at 1101 McCutchen Drive, Rolla.
TOBACCO CESSATION CLASSES
The American Lung Association's "Freedom from Smoking" classes will begin January 21 at Classroom C at the North Entrance of the hospital. Cost is $35.
