The word Cardiopulmonary indicates two of the most vital systems of your body. First Cardio refers to the function of your heart. Second, pulmonary refers to the function of your lungs.

The Services
As the department name indicates, the staff of the Cardiopulmonary Department offers services that are prescribed by a physician related to the assessment, diagnostic evaluation, treatment, management and monitoring of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the heart and lungs.

We also offer Neurology diagnostics services. Neurology is the study and treatment of the diseases of the nervous system.

Our sleep lab performs over night studies for sleep apnea. They also do CPAP titration and daytime MSLT studies.

We also perform Pulmonary Functions studies. These are studies that test how well your lungs are working.

The People
The Cardiopulmonary Department is made up of Certified and Registered Respiratory Therapists, Sleep technicians and EEG technicians.
