First donation for 2015 Relay for Life

The Rolla VFW Auxiliary Post 2025 presented the Delbert Day Cancer Institute at PCRMC Relay for Life team with the first donation for 2015.

Blood Drive at PCRMC Thursday, Feb. 12th

PCRMC and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is hosting a blood drive Thursday, February 12th from 8:00AM-6:00 PM at PCRMC. You can make a difference in the life of someone right here in our community in less than one hour of your time. You already know that we're counting on you to come share your good health at the blood drive, but don't forget that patients are counting on you too!

PCRMC donates $3,000 to Special Olympics Missouri

PCRMC is a premier sponsor of the Rolla Polar Plunge, which will take place Sat. Feb 21, at The Fugitive Beach. The hospital recently donated $3,000 to the Polar Plunge, which benefits Special Olympics Missouri.

PCRMC Showcases New Inpatient Pharmacy

PCRMC recently held an open house with tours to showcase the newly relocated, high-tech inpatient pharmacy. The inpatient pharmacy services the entire PCRMC campus, including the PCRMC Medical Office Building and the outlying clinics located in St. James, Vienna and Waynesville.

Sign up for the Heart-2-Heart 5K race!

Proceeds from the race will support cardiac care to the patients served by Phelps County Regional Medical Center in our six-county region. Services provided include screenings, lunch and learns, patient support, financial assistance, and AEDs for all our local and surrounding schools.

Join Us for a Health & Wellness Expo February 14th

The Expo will include health screenings, health and wellness presentations by local healthcare providers, sessions pertaining to health care options, women’s wellness, diabetes and stroke risk assessments.

DDCI at PCRMC Relay For Life Team’s 2nd Annual Cake Decorating Contest and Bake Sale a Great Success

The Delbert Day Cancer Institute (DDCI) at PCRMC’s Relay for Life team raised over $1,500 to benefit the American Cancer Society at their 2nd annual cake decorating contest and bake sale on Thursday, July 3rd. 17 bakers entered decorated cakes, which included 4 entries submitted by children, ages 3-15.

Dr. Brewer will be greatly missed

It is with deep regret that we announce that Dr. Brewer died on Sunday, June 1st. We are all saddened and want to extend to his wife, Louise, and his two sons, Jeff and Dustin, our deepest sympathy. Arrangements for visitation and the funeral have not been completed.

PCRMC to Host National Cancer Survivors Day® Event

The Delbert Day Cancer Institute at PCRMC is honoring local cancer survivors on National Cancer Survivors Day® (NCSD), Sunday, June 1, 2014. PCRMC is sponsoring the 1st annual Rolla NCSD event at Lions Club Park, and all area cancer survivors and their families are encouraged to attend.

PCRMC Relay For Life Team to Host 2nd Annual Cake Decorating Contest and Bake Sale

The Delbert Day Cancer Institute Relay For Life team at PCRMC is holding their 2nd annual cake decorating contest and bake sale on Thursday, July 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm in Private Dining Rooms 1 & 2 located on the ground floor of the hospital, next to the cafeteria. Please stop by and support Relay For Life and get a homemade sweet treat for your Fourth of July festivities and family gatherings!

PCRMC held its annual appreciation luncheon for the PCRMC Auxiliary & Volunteer Services department on April 23rd. More than 100 volunteers attended the “World-Class Volunteers-A Ray of Sunshine” themed luncheon.
