Alexander Gamble, MD
Dr. Alexander Gamble is the medical director of Supportive Care at PCRMC. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, he completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Gamble completed his residency in combined internal medicine and psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He went on to a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center prior to joining the team at PCRMC. Dr. Gamble is board-certified in internal medicine, psychiatry and palliative medicine.
Philip Cox, PhD
Philip Cox, the pastoral care director at PCRMC, was born and raised in northeast Arkansas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in history from Arkansas State University, his Master of Arts in management from Webster University and his Doctor of Philosophy in clinical Christian counseling from Cornerstone University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He spent seven years in the military and five years in contract security before beginning full-time ministry.
Amber Cook, APRN, FNP-C
Amber Cook is originally from southwest Georgia and attended Albany State University, where she obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Amber has been a PCRMC employee since 2013 and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse.
Shana Wisniewski, LCSW
Shana Wisniewski, who was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Toledo and her master’s degree in social work from Missouri State University.
