Comprehensive Breast Center

About one in eight women will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. Less than 50 percent of women in PCRMC’s 6-county service area receive their yearly mammogram despite the potential increased health outcomes that follow early detection. The American College of Radiology recommends yearly mammograms starting at age 40 or earlier if there is an immediate family history of breast cancer.

Why Choose PCRMC?

Your care is as unique as you, and the healthcare providers at Phelps County Regional Medical Center understand the importance of an integrated team approach to ensure the best treatment options. State-of-the-art technology is a standard feature at the Comprehensive Breast Center, and the center boasts an Image Checker, a method that enhances a traditional mammogram and can detect tumors or an abnormality sooner so patients are able to begin treatments as soon as possible.
